Beauty supplement brand UNOMI targets new white-collar workers and sophisticated mothers aged between 18-35 to develop customized oral healthcare products, which was launched in October 2020, focusing on the affordable market.

Recently, UNOMI completed a multi-million dollar (around RMB 30 million yuan) angel round of financing, which was exclusively invested by Xianfeng K2VC and will be used for product stocking and marketing. Founder and CEO Xu Yuanheng believes that there are two difficulties in the healthcare market: drug property and repurchase. In order to solve the former one, UNOMI gives up the usual form of snack and candy and gets close to the attributes of skincare products. In order to solve the latter problem, UNOMI performed considerable tests in the early stage to clarify its principle of “healthcare products cannot replace drugs, but indeed have supplemental effects”.
