Nestle, the world’s largest food company, has announced the launch of a new app called “Nesfinity” with Xiaomi in China, hoping to connect its products to “all aspects” of Chinese household healthcare and consumption through a smart portal. This means that consumers will be able to manage their health data and corresponding healthy diet guidelines through Xiaomi smart devices, and even access Nestle’s online stores to make purchases and complete deliveries. According to Xiaomi, the company has now become the world’s largest consumer IoT platform, connecting 289 million devices through its artificial intelligence IoT platform. With the growing maturity of AI and 5G technology, Nesfinity, by accessing the AI IoT behind Xiaomi, can combine the dietary habits, living habits and health behaviors of Chinese consumers through Xiaomi’s better big data processing technology and algorithms.
