The e-commerce platform Pinduoduo released data showing that since winter, sales of health services such as physical examination, HPV vaccines, and psychological counseling have increased dramatically, and sales of healthcare products for liver care, stomach care, and hair loss prevention have increased significantly as well. Especially, under the support of Pinduoduo’s RMB 10 billion yuan (USD $1.5 billion) subsidies, the sales of physical examination services and health products soared 375%.
