HPA-China successfully held the Probiotics China Seminar on November 25th during the Hi-Fi China expo, which is organized by Informa. The event had a great grouping of presentations from leading probiotic companies including, Fonterra, Lallemand, Probi, Wecare and Yakult. The event attracted a rotating audience of 70+ members of the food and supplement industry.

Probiotics China Summit is organized by HPA-China together with its partner the International Probiotics Association (IPA) in order to bring the latest research and updates of global probiotics industry to China manufacturers involved dairy industry, OEM Manufacturers, Brand Manufacturers of both supplements and foods as well as ingredient distributors. Probiotics China Summit was established as a business development vehicle for the association’s probiotic members and industry partners.

In 2019, HPA-China held the first Probiotics China Summit together with IPA, HSO group, Dupont, UAS Labs, Synbio, Gnosis, Morinaga milk and 270 attendees. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 this year and international travel restrictions, the association was not able to hold its stand alone all day summit of over 300 attendees. In order to keep the show’s momentum going, the 2 hour seminar was organized.

The HPA-China team is gearing up for 2021 with a two day Probiotics China Summit taking place the two days prior to Hi-Fi China Expo. The 2021 event will include a finished products area with matchmaking and cross border e-commerce players will be in attendance looking for new brands to import and sell. Also looking at having a small staging area for companies to showcase their products both ingredients and finished products to the attendees.
