The “National Institute of Gut Health” is listed at CR Jiangzhong research center, and is the first professional research institute in China that focuses on the research and development of probiotic drugs and foods. According to statistics, China has approved a total of 34 domestic probiotic drug approvals, the vast majority of which are products approved for listing before 2005, with relatively poor strain performance and low live bacteria number of elements, and therefore cannot meet the needs of intestinal health. The subtle differences in diet and physiology between East and West also lead to differences in intestinal strains. The Institute plans to develop China’s first “microbial strain library for drug development based on gut flora”, which will screen gut microbial strains suitable for Chinese people, laying the foundation for the future development of gut flora drugs and providing solutions to China’s gut problems.
