On August 28, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China published the adjustments on the “Catalogue of Technologies Prohibited or Restricted for the Export” as following:

• Delete the entry for chemical synthesis and semi-synthesis caffeine production technology (No. 052701J).
• Delete the entry for Riboflavin (VB2) production process (No. 052702J).
• Delete the entry for the production technology of chemically and semi-synthetically produced drugs (No. 052705J). (The control point is the preparation of vitamin C intermediate 2-keto-L-gulonic acid two-step fermentation technology)

Chinese herbal medicine resources and production technology (No. 052703J) and Chinese medicinal tablet preparation technology (No. 052704J) still remained restricted in the Catalogue. (Source: Shukangzhengxun)
