Given the ongoing COVID-19 situation, and in consultation with key stakeholders across the health and nutrition community, Vitafoods has made the difficult decision to postpone Vitafoods Asia to 24-25 November 2020, at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. We made the proactive decision to act now to allow our industry partners enough time to adjust their plans.
By shifting the event back in the calendar by two months, we are hopeful that we will see continued recovery allowing our community to confidently gather later in the year.
Our parent company, Informa, has developed AllSecure, a set of enhanced standards and guidelines that provide the highest level of hygiene and safety at all Informa’s events. Vitafoods Asia will be organised in accordance with the AllSecure standard, providing visitors with reassurance they are participating in a safe and controlled environment.
The event in November will still take place at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore and all existing commitments remain in place.
We understand how important Vitafoods Asia is to the industry and how much effort goes into preparing for it and so, in this unprecedented situation, we want to thank our community for its understanding and support.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, and in consultation with key stakeholders across the health and nutrition community, Vitafoods has made the difficult decision to cancel the live event Vitafoods Europe in Geneva, Switzerland, originally rescheduled for the 1-3 September 2020 and transition to a large scale virtual event, at the start of September.
This conclusion was not one that was reached easily, however, with the health and safety of our community in mind, as well as government and businesses restrictions on travel and gatherings, we made the proactive decision to act now, allowing our industry partners enough time to adjust their plans.
We know that our industry needs a forum to network, educate and grow their business, so we have decided to shift the live event to a virtual one, with the aim of providing a digital marketplace where the nutraceutical community can discover and showcase new products and innovations, connect with new and existing business partners, and share knowledge and best practice.
Vitafoods Virtual Expo, a large-scale digital event with enhanced matchmaking opportunities, video networking and high-quality educational content, will be taking place from 7th to 11th of September 2020.
“Innovation and connection are critical to the Vitafoods community; the engagement in last month’s Vitafoods Digital Week demonstrated how the health and nutrition industry are seeking new ways to discover new products, foster connections and support their business.
The Vitafoods Virtual Expo will offer a new way to connect industry experts and support businesses overcome challenges in this new environment today and building a footprint for everyone’s digital evolution in the future.” Chris Lee, Managing Director, Health and Nutrition Network at Informa Markets
The Vitafoods team is working through details that will support this transition and will be sharing updates via our website and social media platforms in the coming weeks.
We understand how important Vitafoods is to the industry and how much effort goes into preparing for it and so, in this difficult time, we would like to thank our community for its understanding and support.
We’re looking forward to continuing to drive our industry forward, connect our communities and support businesses, together. (Source: Informa Vitafoods EU)
