The People’s Congress of Anhui province recently passed the revision on the province’s food safety regulation, which is expected to take effect on June 1.

Three new items have been added to the regulation. The added items include requirement towards the vendors of health food, special-use food and infant formula food at shopping malls and stores to set up labels in noticeable spots. Relevant products should be put together with general food.

It also require seminars and consultations to promote health food in a scientific way, and no exaggeration should be used when introducing health function of health food. (Source: shuzheng kangxun)
