Based on the live-streaming service of Wechat, Amway launched a live- event in which it promoted and sold its cosmetic line. The two-hour event had an audience of 1.23 million and generated over 100 million yuan in sales.

Ms. Yu fang, Amway China’s president shown below, joined the live-streaming event to help sell the company’s products.

Different from general live-streaming selling, Amway’s live-streaming e-commerce is focused on its consumer base which was derived from its direct sales model.  

Amway’s independent salespeople invite their own customers to log on to the event. If they make any purchases, the salesperson will get credit for the sale and enjoy the commission that goes along with it. (Source:zhixiao100)
