According to the national health development research center under the national health regulator, the added value of China’s health industry reached 6.4 trillion yuan, up by 12.4% from a year ago, accounting for 7.08% of the total GDP.

It is expected that the total value of health service industry would reach 16 trillion yuan in 2030.
