Wang Bingnan, vice minster of Ministry of Commerce, said at a recent press conference that in face of the virus crisis, the 11 major Chinese e-commerce platforms should shoulder more responsibility to ensure market supply.
The e-commerce platforms should increase supply, making sure the logistics meet the demand as well as the food safety.
The Ministry of Commerce also requires the e-commerce platforms to adopt “no-touch” delivery method, having the delivery men to put package in a designated place for customers instead of handing to the consumers in person, avoiding infection via body touch. (Source:baijiahao)
