On Jan.3, the national market regulator announced that the management guidance on food production approval had been approved, and would take effect starting the coming March.

The new guidance would allow the applicants to choose one relevant government agency to submit the applications to, which would alleviate the burden for companies to spend time and energy to visit several agencies for the approval.

It also mentions that health food, special-use food, infant formula food companies should register or apply for changing the registered file before changing the production procedure of relevant products. (Source:shuzheng kangxun)
