The two-day 2019 International Food Safety and Nutrition Forum was held in Beijing. The forum was co-organized by the nation health and sanitation committee and China Food Association.
At the forum, Ding Gangqiang, the chief of nutrition and health department under China Disease Control Center, pointed out that the “nutrition-sensitive” food industry should be better developed, as he gave the speech of healthy China and scientific innovation of food.
The health of consumers should be highlighted and the food industry should be fueled by innovation and idea of nutrition. The national nutrition project should be propelled by integration of better health and nutrition. (Source: foodmate)
