A white paper report on Chinese children’s growth and nutrition co-organized by Nestle, Cekid and McCann Health was recently released in Beijing.

The report is on consumers’ awareness of children’s growth and nutrition supplement in 18 cities in China.

It shows that among the interviewed children age between one and ten years old, kids whose physical growth lags behind account for 14.6% of the total number. According to the yearbook of China’s health and hygiene,the population number of kids age under 10 years old is 147 million.

Therefore, according to the report, about 14.70 million kids’ height and physical development lag behind. This should be paid attention and intervened as early as possible. (Source:tech.sina.com.cn)
