Recently, the Beijing Consumers Association released a report on the elderly consumers who buy health food.

The report shows that those who are more willing to buy health food are more safety-minded consumers.

According to the report, by the end of 2018, the population of 60-year-old and above account for 25.4% of the total population in Beijing.

The report also shows that elderly consumers are the major group of health food consumers. Those who said they bought health food frequently account for 44.54% of those who said they had ever bought health product.

The offline stores are still the major channel for elderly consumers to buy health food. And the marketing events that organized by health food companies are still the major channel for this group of consumers to know about the products. (Source:baijiahao)
