A popular Chinese TV soap drama “Xiao Huanxi” was criticized by the China Bee Products Association for a line in the show.

A doctor in the TV drama suggested to a patient that propolis contains hormone which leads to breast cancer. The Committee of the Association released an announcement saying that this line is groundless and without any scientific evidence.

The Association has sent complaint letter to the TV show department of the national media regulator to request to tackle this issue. (Source：Beijing News)
