According to the information released by the national market regulator regarding the spot check results of national food safety in the second quarter, the regulators checked 635,151 batches of food, including health food and food additives, and the total substandard rate is 2.4%, down by 0.1% from a year ago.
The regulators of local governments have requested companies which produced the problematic products to take the products off shelf, and recall relevant products from the market. The information of the substandard products can be found via local government’s official website.
