According to documents by several medical insurance departments, pharmacies covered by the medical insurance were asked to take the health food and other non-medical products off their shelves.

Several health food companies said that the relevant policies have affected their sales to different extends.

They also said that the policies were groundless and these brutal regulatory measures were not good for economic development.
