The provincial market regulator of Hainan recently launched a special campaign to tackle the illegal conducts of health food fraud, and would severely punish those conduct false advertisement and produce counterfeits and substandard products.

Hainan kicked off the 100-day special campaign over health food product earlier this year, and has so far received 272 complaint reports from customers, addressed 3091 illegal information online, and shut down 389 substandard websites, apps and social media accounts.
