The State Council recently said at a meeting that the agency would further promote facilitation of customs clearance, which aims to further open-up and promote diversification of import and export.
So far, according to the agency, the customs clearance facilitation has yielded positive fruits. By this May, the time taken to pass the customs clearance has been cut by half compared with 2017, and the cost for customs clearance has also been reduced dramatically.
The move aims to promote more countries to sign free trade agreement with the Chinese government and to expand pilot zone for cross-border e-commerce, and encourage local companies to enhance international marketing network. (Source: baijiahao)
