At a recent press conference, the spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce answered a question regarding the management of direct sales, and whether there would be a withdraw system for relevant companies.

Gao Feng, the spokesman, said that the Ministry of Commerce would raise the entry bar for direct sales companies with other relevant government agencies, and would enhance regulations of the industry management, and strengthen regulation before and after incidents, which aim to promote the sound development of this industry.

Mr Gao also said that the investigation over Quanjian and Hebei’s Hualin Suanjianping Bio Tech are still undergoing. The Ministry would announce investigations as soon as the result is out. (Source: mofcom)
