The national market regulator recently released its food safety inspection and spot check report for Q1 on its official website. Over 10 domestic infant formula brands have reached 100% standard rate in the past consecutive 15 months, starting from the implementation of registration system for infant formula.

The inspections covered over 428,000 food, including general food and health food. The result showed that the substandard rate was 2.2%, down by 0.4% from a year ago.
