According to the national market regulator in its quarterly meeting, in general, the food safety in this country is improving, based on the 250,00 inspections covering 33 kinds of food.
The average substandard ratio is 2.4%, down by 2.9 from a year ago.
Last year, the food safety on campus was paid much attention last year. Li Qijian, the chief of food department of the national agency, says that food safety should be enhanced on campus.
