According to data from JD.com, the e-commerce’s general sales during Chinese New Year rose by 42.74% from a year ago.
Among the products that experience a boost in sales during CNY, health food sales rose by 83%, ranking No. 5 among all items.
Products including calcium, vitamin and dairy products for elderly consumers rose by 128% from a year ago.
