Right before the Chinese New Year, the national market regulator released the lawmaking plan for 2019, which says that the guidance of ads for drug, medical equipment, health food, food of special use will be drafted by the ads regulating department.
The plan says that the specific guidance should be submitted to lawmaking department for review by June. 30.
Currently, the ad censorship of health food is still based on the health food ad temporary censorship guidance released by the then CFDA in May, 2005. (Source: shuzheng kangxun)
