To better enhance the regulation over health food market, to ensure the market order of health food, the local law enforcers of Hainan province recently released a work plan to specifically crack down over illegal conducts of health food vendors and companies.

Starting from Feb. 15 to April 30., the local regulators would launch a special campaign targeting the local health food market.

The campaign would speed up processing of criminal cases in the health food market, and would crack down any illegal conducts that harm the consumers’ due rights severely.

Special attention would be paid to sell and produce poisonous food or food that fail to meet the safety standard. Any sales conduct that harms the due rights of elderly consumers would be treated as fraud crimes. (Source:chinanews.com)
