The local food and drug regulators of Nantong recently gathered local health food companies in Nantong to talk about the issue regarding health food sales.

At the seminar, 25 health food companies signed on the commitment letter to operate legally. The letter requires that all products in the market should have obtained official approval to sell, and no false advertisement can be conducted to mislead local consumers.

The letter also requires that no sales to elderly consumers unless the consumer him or herself as well their families agree to buy the products. The products can be refunded within 15 days after the purchase.
