The 2018 China Special Food Cooperation and Development Conference was recently held in Beijing by the country’s nutrition and health food association.

Officials from the national market regulation bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Health Committee, Ministry of Commerce, General Customs Bureau, and other representatives attended the meeting.

Wang Tiehan, director of food safety of the national market regulation bureau, said at the meeting that food of special use concerns people’s life, especially the infant formula. The increasing demand for quality food also provides development opportunity for the industry.

The food safety of relevant products should be ensured to enhance the happiness of local consumers.
