According to the state broadcaster CCTV, food that are produced after Oct 1 should not continue to use the original package and label, as well as the sign of QS.

The use of the sign QS is a legal result of the management regulation of industrial product production certificate. With the implementation of the new food safety law, the original regulation is no longer effective thus cancelling use of QS.

There is no new SC sign for use, only SC number, which is the number of the new food production approval certificate. This number consists of the two letter SC and 14 digits. (Source:Shuzheng Kangxun)
