China’s Ministry of Public Security recently announced that the agency would launch a 3-month campaign to crack down on food and drug-related crimes on agricultural materials and environment. Directors of the agency addressed at the meeting.
The agency has tirelessly launched relevant campaign to crack down over environmental pollution and counterfeits cases in the food and drug field.

So far, over 21,000 cases have been cracked in this field, with over 26,000 suspects detained.

Sun Lijun，deputy minister of the Ministry said at the meeting that the issue of agricultural material and environment in the food and drug field is very important concerning people’s life and property security. Regulators of all level should recognize the importance, and enhance punishment towards those who conduct crimes.
