The association in conjunction with SupplySide China organizer Informa organized a pavilion during the first annual SupplySide China Expo held June 28-30, 2018 in Guangzhou.

HPA-China invited association partners GOED and IPA to join the pavilion, which was occupied by members of the three association’s, Aker BioMarine, AlzChem, China Gate Consulting, Daflorn, Innovagel, Lallemand, Marine Ingredients and TSI Group.

The association organized a panel discussion about the general state of the supplement and overall health product industry. The panel was moderated by NutraIngredients-Asia’s Editor in Chief Gary Scattergood. Participants included Andreas Thorud – Aker BioMarine’s China GM, Chris Gearheart – GOED Communication Manager, George Paraskevakos – IPA Executive Director and Cheng Xiang – Lallemand Greater China Sales Manager.

For those that didn’t attend, keep an eye out for next year. The association is looking forward to the steady growth of the SupplySide China brand. There is a lot of expo competition in China, but Informa has a strong and growing position in the market.
