The guidance aims to crack down over illegal health food sales and safeguard the local consumers’ due rights.

The guidance requires the local regulators of health food to highlight the importance of health food safety issue, ad implement pragmatic plans to regulate the local market based on scientific measures and sustainable system

The local authority should also enhance publicity to educate the local consumers of health food safety issues, and expose illegal conducts, and punish relevant entities seriously.
