The provincial market of Shanxi province recently launched a special campaign to crack down over unfair competition, including bribery and false advertisement, which aims to better protect due rights of local consumers. Special attention would be paid to online transaction, rural market, medicine and education. Bribery in hospital and educational institution would be highlighted in the campaign. False advertisement online is also listed as a major issue to be spotted during the campaign. transactions that involve health food, especially false advertisement towards elderly consumers, and direct sales would be listed as major field to be spot checked for illegal conducts.
