The Chinese e-commerce site JD.com kicked off mid-year shopping festival on June 1, and saw an explosive sales growth of health food this year.
JD sold 1.5 times more of the sales volume in the first hour of the festival this year than the whole day of June, 1 last year.
Many of the health food sold on this platform offers 50% discounts to users this year.
