According to authority with Tianjin’s free trade pilot zone, ten provinces and municipalities have kicked off filling for imported non-special-use cosmetics.

Relevant companies can file for registration via national online platform of filing management system for imported non-special-use cosmetics. After getting proof of filing, the relevant products are allowed to be imported to China’s local market.

The filing of non-special-use imported cosmetics used to be managed by CFDA.

This March, the then CFDA released notice to enable local authorities of free-trade pilot zones, including Tianjin, to conduct filing management of relevant products. (Source: xsgou.com)
