As required by CFDA, provincial regulators in areas including Shandong, Liaoning, Fujian and Hebei province have conducted special campaign to inspect food market in rural areas and spot copycat health products.

CFDA recently released a notice to call for crackdown over food sales fraud in local markets, with a focus in rural market. The campaigns should specifically inspect for copycat health food and products that have no official approval to sell.
