The official site of the State Administration of Market Regulation shows that the SAMR and CFDA released a notice on the supervision on food and drug during the period of institutional reform.

The relevant work for the institutional reform, as suggested by the mandate of the State Council, is now conducted by relevant agencies, including CFDA.

The notice says that before the final plan regarding institutional reform is released, the existing procedure of approval and review for food, drug, medical equipment, cosmetics, health food, infant products, food of special use remain unchanged. Other functions of the regulators, including inspection, test, law implementation, information transparency also remain unchanged.

The formant of all papers and certificates also remain unchanged.
