According to the local customs of Shenzhen, the cross-border e-commerce business has been a major driving force for local business development.

In 2017, cross-border e-commerce has generated 2.75 billion yuan for local economy, with 2.14 billion of them from import business, up by 41% from a year ago.

The retail sales of cross-border e-commerce have reached 1.92 billion yuan, up by 19% from a year ago.

Nearly 500 cross-border companies have registered in Shenzhen, including JD.com. Nearly 100,000 kinds of products have been imported, most of which are health food and cosmetics. (Source; news.163)
