Recently, the industry and commerce regulators released a guidance of regulating advertisement in 2018 on its official website, highlighting the key issues in regulating advertisements.

False advertisements of products including medicines, food, general food and financial investment should be highlighted during regulations. Illegal cases should be exposed to the public regularly.

Regular inspections on ads should be conducted towards 1000 provincial-level media outlets and 1000 major websites. The inspections should also cover 1000 social media accounts and 1000 apps.
