Local market regulators of Ningbo strengthen regulations over online food services recently by teaming up with a local technology company, which provides smart monitoring system.

The system can transmit information of local restaurants in time to local regulators, which facilitates inspections over local restaurants. Based on this system, over 5500 local online food vendors have been taken down for problematic conducts, and 448 vendors were found to have operated without official approvals.

An online live-streaming platform was launched by the regulators to monitor local kitchens, which aims to help make inspection more efficient. (Source: China Medical News)
