Since I’ve been visiting and living in China since 2000, I’m no strange to this cough remedy. It really does help out. There are a variety of companies producing this loquat based product. Here in China it is registered as an OTC. The larger bottle and tin are from the same company and are the market leader across most of Asia. In China, it’s referred to simply by its shortened company name, which are the last three characters on the top line “nian ci an”.
