Recently, 21 kinds of health food by 11 health food companies gained official approval to register in five provinces in China, including Shandong, Hainan, Jiangxi, Guangdong and Jilin.

According to data by Shuzheng Kangxun, so far 13 provincial FDAs have released registration notice of health food, but information transparency is still severely lacked in this regard. It is thus hard to know the general information of health food registration.

According to people familiar with the matter, hundreds of health food have registered in China, with another hundreds of imported food registered with CFDA.
