The local regulators of Shenyang recently held a press conference to release info about the campaign to crack down over sales fraud and false advertisement of general food and health food.

The campaign was co-held by several government agencies including the local FDA, industry and commerce bureau and the local public security bureau. So far, 20 legal cases were set with 14 of them closed so far.

The local FDA has talked with 1140 local food production and sales companies, and inspected 2375 companies.

The campaign covers 727 batches of general food and 1328 batches of health food. 22 complaints reported by local consumers regarding sales fraud and false advertisement of food and health food were addressed during the campaign. (Source: news.sina)
