The provincial FDA of Liaoning province spot checked 75 local-based food companies, 23 of which were suspended from operation.

According to an inspection report provided by the provincial regulator, no major food problems have been found so far in the inspections.

The inspections were carried out since August till December. The regulators pay much attention to the food companies that are deemed as the risky ones.

The inspections cover 51 items listed in the daily inspection records of food companies in Liaoning, and tested food safety managers of relevant entities on spot. (Source: liaoning.nen.com）
