The local FDA of Zhuzhou, Hunan recently launched a special campaign to educate the local elderly consumers about how to buy health food and how to avoid consumption traps when buying health food.

In a letter sent to the elderly consumers via primary school students, the regulators illustrate how to help the elderly consumers to buy the right health food and how to identify the false advertisement of health food.

This campaign aims to mobilize the primary school students to bring the letters home for their grand parents, and remind the elderly consumers to be alert when buying health food. (Source: China Food Safety Journal)
