The provincial FDA of Guangdong province said recently that the regulators have set 1316 legal cases related to sales fraud and false advertisement of general food and health food in the latter half of this year.

The special campaign to spot illegal conducts in selling general food and health food specifically look into illegally selling relevant products online, via conferences and phone calls.

The regulators also spot checked health products that claim to be able to alleviate fatigue and control blood pressure level etc. The inspections have found 100 batches of relevant products fake, whose official websites are invalid now. (Source: news.foodmate.net)
