The local food and drug regulator of Shenzhen released a catering services management guidance to clarify on management requirement on qualification, social surveillance and food additives.

The guidance reiterated that the catering services providers should obtain official approval for operations, and should display the qualification documents at restaurants. The restaurants should not sell food that is not stated in the documents.

Each food companies should have at least two food safety managers with at least two-year work experience in this field. The managers should conduct training of food safety practices in the companies, according to the guidance. (Source: Shenzhen Evening News)
