The local regulators in Lanzhou, including police and market authorities, are teaming up in launching a campaign to crack down on illegal health food sales.

The campaign will cover health seminars, conferences, expert meetings, free physical tests and false advertisement. At the same time, venues including hotel, cinema, restaurant and club are not allowed to organize marketing campaigns that are suspected to be frauds.

Those would offer venues for the illegal marketing and sales campaigns will be punished based on the law of food safety and consumer rights protection. (Source: Lanzhou Evening News)
