April 29, 2011 (Shanghai) – Retail association member World Health Store (WHS) celebrated the grand opening of its 7th location with a visit from the U.S. Embassy’s Department of Commerce and Agricultural Trade Office. In March 2011, the association received an export award from the U.S. Department of Commerce for its successful work in assisting U.S. natural health products companies to enter the China market. World Health Store and the association worked together to secure business agreements with Jarrow Formulas, All American Pharma, Pacific Health Labs, Forward Foods and Chef Jays all of which are seeing increased business as World Health Store expands its presence in China. The association and WHS are taking full advantage of the increased strength of the Chinese RMB, growing consumer base and China’s policies toward increasing imports to generate domestic consumption.
