Membership Designation

Board Members this is a voting category and shall be open to all companies that are involved in the manufacturing, marketing, distributing, retailing, publishing, trade show organizing, advocating, educating, analytical testing/certifying, researching or any other business endeavor that promotes natural health products.

Associate Members this is a non-voting category and shall be open to all companies that are involved in the manufacturing, marketing, distributing, retailing, publishing, trade show organizing, advocating, educating, analytical testing/certifying, researching or any other business endeavor that promotes natural health products. These companies are focused on getting into or expanding their business in the PRC.

Member Benefits

Board Members have the following privileges and benefits: 

  1. Appoint one representative to the associations’ board of directors, which must be an employee of said member’s company, officer, partner through joint venture or other business relationship to the member’s company and possesses decision making power on behalf of the member company in regard to association business decisions
  2. Have one vote on all matters presented to the board
  3. Appoint board of directors and other officers
  4. Serve as directors or officers
  5. Have access to all reports, board meeting notes and other materials that the association generates
  6. Attend China sub-committee meetings and/or receive the meeting notes
  7. Receive the association’s timely electronic English newsletter “China Updates”, which covers topics that effect the natural health products industry in China as well as the association’s Chinese E-Magazine”膳食与健康”.
  8. Association can do a company video profile including on-site facility visit, interview with corporate leadership showcasing company history, areas of expertise, products produced, international certificates that have been obtained, etc. The video will be posted on the association’s U.S. and Chinese website and shared with global natural health product industry news sources. Since the videos will be shown on the association’s websites and exposed to the international community, this is a great way to attract new global business and built open and transparent trust.The association is not responsible for any costs incurred as a result of producing the Company Profile video. This includes travel, food and lodging expenses, filming, editing, subtitle creation, translation work, and final production of the video. These expenses are the sole responsibility of the member. If the company already have a cooperate video online, the association can link visitors to view this video.
  9. Use the association to publish press releases or company news on both the association’s U.S. and Chinese websites as well as to be included in the association’s “China Updates” newsletter and Chinese based magazine. The association will also share press releases and company news with other U.S. dietary supplement industry media sources.
  10. Association staff will offer assistance in finding appropriate agents to assist with product registrations, label approvals, and importing requirements
  11. Association staff will offer assistance in finding potential partners in the areas of distribution, wholesale and retail
  12. Association staff will offer assistance in registering trademarks and domain names
  13. Association staff will offer assistance with import/export issues by cooperating directly with the member and relevant government agencies
  14. Participate in seminars, trade missions or trade shows organized by the association (Entry tickets, air travel, hotel, food as well as any other costs to attend these events are not included in membership. These fees are the responsibility of the member and will not be paid by the association).
  15. Use of association logo on the member’s website and marketing materials.

Associate Members have the following privileges and benefits:

  1. Receive the association’s timely electronic English newsletter “China Updates”, which covers topics that effect the natural health products industry in China as well as the association’s Chinese E-Magazine”膳食与健康”.
  2. Access to association’s staff in China to discuss basic China strategies and ask questions related to the member’s China business
  3. Participate in seminars, trade missions or trade shows organized by the association (Entry tickets, air travel, hotel, food as well as any other costs associated with attending these events are not included in membership. These fees are the sole responsibility of the member and will not be paid by the association).
  4. Use the association to publish press releases or company news on both the association’s U.S. and Chinese websites as well as to be included in the association’s “China Updates” newsletter and Chinese based magazine. *All payments are in U.S. dollars and wired to the Association’s U.S. bank account. Membership begins on the day dues are received in the association’s account and expire one year from that anniversary date.
